All Tactical Anatomy classes are
personally conducted by Dr. Williams. Local agencies may engage a Tactical
Anatomy class for their own personnel, or host a class open to neighboring
law enforcement personnel. There are numerous advantages to hosting a class. By
coming to your city to conduct the seminar, we allow you to maximize the number
of your officers who can be trained in the system, while minimizing your costs,
while hosting a class gives you the option of tailoring the course material to
meet specific wants and needs within your agency.

Designed primarily for
the law enforcement firearms instructor but suitable for any experienced police
marksman, Tactical Anatomy classes provide the knowledge, skills, and
resources needed to train patrol officers in anatomically effective
marksmanship. The classes are designed to provide a foundation of knowledge in
the classroom setting which is then reinforced in practical exercises. Trainees
receive teaching tips and techniques in addition to the basic training package.
After completing one of our classes, an instructor has the tools to fully train
your patrol officers in the concepts and practices of Tactical Anatomy. |

Dr. Williams uses a combination of anatomic models, Xrays, computer modeling
techniques, and human models to train your personnel in the elements of anatomy
as they apply to the police marksman. Tactical Anatomy is not a static,
2-dimensional presentation, but a dynamic 3-D system that trains the police
marksman to “see” his target in an entirely new way. |

After the fundamental concepts of Tactical Anatomy are laid down in the
classroom, Dr. Williams works with your personnel in practical exercises
designed to reinforce the anatomic targeting system. Starting in the classroom,
then moving on to the computer simulator, increasingly complex targeting
problems are presented to the trainee.
We offer Basic (1-day) and Advanced (2-day) Tactical Anatomy classes. All
necessary fundamentals are covered in the Basic class. The Advanced class covers
the same material on TD1, then on TD2 we take the concepts a step further in
force-on-force exercises.
The types of shooting scenarios chosen can be tailored to your agency’s
agenda. Dr. Williams provides one-on-one training with immediate feedback to
your personnel in both Basic and Advanced classes, so each trainee is able to
fully internalize the instructional system.
Standard Tactical Anatomy seminars are intended to run a full day with a
maximum class size of 20 officers. Larger groups can be accommodated, with some
changes in the curriculum and/or time allotment. We can also work with your
agency’s requirements for special needs such as SWAT or Hostage Rescue teams. |
